Chris commenced his legal career in the UK after graduating from Portsmouth University with a first-class degree in business studies. Having always enjoyed the legal modules in his degree, he joined a local law firm with the intention of getting some experience before studying again to convert his degree and qualify as a Solicitor. Almost 18 years later, Chris finally left that firm (having qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive) to move to New Zealand to be with his partner in 2023. Chris has had experience in wide range of legal areas, primarily property based, but joins Pier Law to work on our Trust matters.

Widely known fact: Chris loves getting out and exploring Christchurch with his partner and two French Bulldogs (Olive and Claude).

Little known fact: Chris is an avid “home” Barista and loves all things coffee.
