Born and raised in Christchurch, Shani is the first person in her family to go to university. After 5 years working as a checkout supervisor while completing her degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Canterbury, she joins the Pier Law team as the Northwood receptionist. If you visit our Northwood office you will no doubt be greeted by Shani’s smiling face!

Widely known fact:  Shani is an empathetic and caring person and will do her best to support people in challenging situations. 

Little known fact:  Shani used to compete in many Mixed Martial Arts and Taekwondo tournaments throughout NZ in which she won quite a few gold medals!
